About This Lovely Home

WOW!!  This 3 Bedroom, 2.5 Bathroom home sits on a bright and sunny, acre plus, well landscaped lot, at the top of a cul-de-sac with conservation land abutting most of the backyard. You’ll enter the home from a spacious farmer’s porch featuring a bead board ceiling with an arch and two ceiling fans.

Upon entering we are greeted by a two-story foyer with a contemporary chandelier. A large palladium window casts natural light onto the beautiful hardwood flooring, staircase and detailed railing.  The gleaming hardwood floors carry throughout all of the living spaces on both levels. Crown molding is a key feature in many of the rooms.  To the left of the foyer we’ll pass through French Doors leading into a cozy den/office. To the right, is the lovely formal dining room with modern lighting.

The recently updated eat-in kitchen is gorgeous. A large center island includes seating, storage, beautiful granite counters and coffee/bar area. The kitchen also has updated appliances and a slider leading to a  spacious outdoor deck. The oversized family room has knee-wall and granite details framing the entry. This room features a vaulted ceiling and spectacular views of Mt. Monadnock through the large windows that create the namesake view! The corner gas stove generates plenty of heat, is raised and has beautiful tile backsplash!

On the second floor you will find the Primary Suite. This bedroom features a large walk-in closet, step-in shower, jetted spa tub and window for natural light plus a private water closet. There are two guest bedrooms and a full bath also on this floor.

In the versatile finished lower level you will find ample storage closets, a daylight window, tile floors. There is plenty of room for couches, tables, chairs and even a bar. A great place to entertain friends and family!

About Rindge, New Hampshire

Rindge is a small town on the southern boundary of Cheshire County, immediately north of the Massachusetts border about halfway across the State of New Hampshire. Incorporated on February 11, 1768, it still retains much of its small town flavor while providing many convenient locations for groceries, health care products, dry goods, entertainment, banking services, alcoholic beverages, as well as medical, dental and legal services.

Scattered throughout the town you will find farm stands, antique shops, B&Bs, baskets, and yes, you can even see sap from the maples boiled down to syrup in the early spring. With 18 great ponds throughout the town (“great ponds” are bodies of water over 10 acres in size) there are naturally opportunities for boating, both power and sail, as well as swimming and fishing. Winter offers skating, skiing, ice fishing and even ice boating.

The center of the town is identified by the Town Meeting house pictured to the right. Built in 1796, it remains one of the few remaining structures used by both the town government and a church group. Opposite the Meeting House is a green park with a wonderful new addition of The Smith Pavilion for band concerts, weddings, and other community affairs. Holiday lighting has become a welcome addition to the park.

The town of Rindge and the Rindge Chamber of Commerce prides itself on these two historical places within it’s borders:

Cathedral of the Pines, located in Rindge NH, is a historical landmark dedicated to all Veterans. It was built in memory of Sandy Sloan who’s parents owned the property and dedicated it to him and to the men and women who fought in WWII along with the women’s Memorial Bell Tower with two steel bells that ring on the hour. This tower includes carvings by Norman Rockwell and casted by his son portraying women who fought in the War and who cared for wounded soldiers including those such as Florence Nightingale. There is a pool of the water underneath the Bell Tower along with the tree of Life representing the healing of those who survived the war and the families of those who lost loved ones.
